Solada Markets, Powered by Nexus: How a Cardano Launchpad Added Best-Price Swaps

Solada and GeroWallet are now partners. Solada is a Cardano coin launchpad, and its trading hub, Solada Markets, runs on Nexus, the data and transaction API built by A.D. Labs, the team behind GeroWallet. Every swap on Solada Markets is routed by Nexus across Cardano's exchanges, and every price, chart and trade on the page is read from Nexus Market Data.

This post explains what that integration actually does, why a launchpad needs it, and how any Cardano team can put the same stack on its own site.

TL;DR

  • Solada Markets (solada.fun/markets) embeds the Nexus swap widget and the Nexus market kit. Swaps are routed across Cardano DEXes for the best price, and the user signs every transaction in their own wallet.

  • Order types on the page: market, limit, stop and OCO.

  • Nexus Market Data indexes Solada natively. GET /api/market/solada lists Solada tokens on the bonding curve and after they graduate, and graduates are indexed from the block that creates their pool.

  • Same stack, your site: a public partner key, an origin you register, and the Market Data add-on for the page's market reads.

Why Solada chose a partner, in their words

Solada announced the partnership on 2 November 2026, the same day it shipped Solada V3. Their announcement put the decision down to three things:

A Trending row shows USDCx, MEPE and STRIKE with price sparklines; 24 hour volume, transaction and market cap totals sit above a token table led by SOLADA, NIGHT, USDCx and STRIKE; on the right, the embedded Nexus swap panel offers Market, Limit, Stop and OCO tabs to sell ADA for SOLADA. Trust: "Our entire team is fully doxxed, and accountability matters to us. We want to know that the people we're building with share not only our vision but also our values."

Execution: "Ideas are a dime a dozen. We look for teams that can actually deliver, keep improving and keep showing up even when the market gets tough."

Strategic alignment: "The right partnership should make both projects stronger and create something useful for the people using them."

And on the choice itself: "After several calls with Adam Cazes, partnering with @GeroWallet was a no-brainer. Adam and his team have been building on Cardano since 2021. Today, that work includes @NexusByGero, the engine behind Solada Markets."

We take that as a standard to keep meeting, not a compliment to frame.

What Nexus runs inside Solada Markets

Solada Markets is the part of solada.fun where people trade any Cardano token, not only coins launched on Solada. Two Nexus components do the work:

Isometric diagram in the white Nexus style: four exchange tiles labelled Minswap, WingRiders, Splash and SaturnSwap send dashed rails into a central hub marked with the Nexus knot and labelled Nexus DEX Aggregator. Below it, a tile labelled Solada Markets carries the tags gero-swap and gero-market; cyan coins travel from the page to the hub and green coins travel back, with a chip reading best route, you sign.

The swap widget (<gero-swap>). A user picks a pair and an amount. Nexus quotes the trade across the DEXes it can build on, picks the best route, and returns an unsigned transaction. The user signs it in their own wallet, then Nexus co-signs and submits it. The aggregator is non-custodial: Nexus never holds the user's funds or keys. On mainnet the build path today covers Minswap (V1 and V2), WingRiders (V1 and V2), Splash and SaturnSwap, and the live list is always the one GET /api/aggregator/supported-dexes returns.

The market kit (<gero-market>). Around the swap panel sits a full market page: a token screener with sparklines, a trending strip, market stats, token pages with candlestick charts, recent trades, an order book, per-DEX markets, top traders and a live swaps feed. The data comes from Nexus Market Data, which covers all 11 Cardano DEXes Nexus indexes.

Every fee is shown in the swap details before the user signs, and on Solada Markets the order panel offers market, limit, stop and OCO orders.

For Solada, this meant a complete trading surface without running an indexer, a pricing service or a routing engine. Solada keeps its own domain, branding and navigation; Nexus keeps the page and the routing working, and fixes and features reach Solada's users without a release on Solada's side.

Launchpad tokens, from the curve to the pool

A launchpad token has two lives. It starts on an off-chain bonding curve, priced by the launchpad, and if it fills its curve it graduates to an on-chain liquidity pool. Most market data products only see the second life, and often only after a delay.

Isometric diagram in the white Nexus style: a cyan tile labelled On the Solada curve, tagged SOLADA, and a green tile labelled Graduated to a pool, tagged SOLADA_GRADUATE, both feed dashed rails into the Nexus Market Data hub marked with the Nexus knot, which serves a tile labelled Your app through the endpoint GET /api/market/solada.

Nexus Market Data tracks both, for Solada and for snek.fun:

source on a price row

What it means

SOLADA

A row from the Solada launchpad list: a token still on the curve, or a graduate, as Solada lists it

SOLADA_GRADUATE

A Solada token that graduated to an on-chain pool and is indexed like any other token: price, candles, swaps and pools from chain

absent

An ordinary token indexed from its on-chain pools

GET /api/market/solada returns Solada's tokens as a bare array of price rows, refreshed every 30 seconds:

curl "https://nexus.gerowallet.io/api/market/solada?limit=50" \
-H "X-Api-Key: nxs_your_api_key_here"

A Solada graduate is indexed in near real time: it is listed from the block that creates its pool, and from then on it appears in the main price lists such as /api/market/prices and /api/prices/latest. Launchpad tokens always carry verified: false, because they are not in the Cardano token registry (CIP-26). That flag describes the metadata, not the price.

For a wallet, a portfolio tracker or a trading bot, this is the difference between a token that appears the moment it can be traded on chain and one that shows up a day later with no history.

Put the same stack on your own site

What Solada uses is available to any Cardano project with a swap box, a token page or a community site:

  1. Create a public partner key on Cardano mainnet in the Nexus dashboard. It is public by design and only works from the browser origins you register on it.

  2. Register your site's origin on the key.

  3. Embed the widget, the market page, or both. The market page is two tags and one element:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://nexus.gerowallet.io/market-kit/v1/gero-market.css">
<script src="https://nexus.gerowallet.io/market-kit/v1/gero-market.js"></script>

<gero-market partner-key="nxs_your_partner_key"
config='{"branding":{"title":"Acme Market"}}'></gero-market>

A partner key needs no Nexus plan to embed the swap widget. The market reads on the page need the Market Data add-on on the key owner's plan, and building and submitting swaps needs the Transaction Builder add-on. Teams that would rather build their own interface can call the same Market Data and aggregator endpoints from a server with an ordinary API key.

Built for UTXO chains

Solada Markets runs on the Cardano side of Nexus, where coverage is deepest: chain data, DEX market data across 11 exchanges, wallet analytics, transaction building, WebSocket streaming and the DEX aggregator. The same platform also serves Bitcoin (addresses, blocks, fees, mempool, ordinals, runes and transaction submit) and Midnight (network info, unshielded transaction build and submit, DUST registration), all on one Nexus account, with API keys scoped per chain and network. Live component health, latency and indexer sync lag are public at status.gerowallet.io.

Welcome to Solada

Solada closed its announcement with "More builders working together. More reasons to use Cardano. More ways to have fun." We agree on all three. Thank you to the Solada team for the trust, and congratulations on V3.
